CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --Governor JB Pritzker was very critical of the Governor Texas after a third busload of migrants was sent to Chicago Wednesday.

Governor Pritzker said Governor Greg Abbott is trying to sow chaos by sending thousands of asylum-seekers to New York and Washington D.C. and has now chosen Chicago.

"What the governor of Texas is doing is disgusting and it needs to stop."

Pritzker said the state will do everything it can to help the migrants.

"If they're coming to Illinois, we're a welcoming state. We're gonna make sure they have a place to live, make sure they are able to get fed and get healthcare."

He also said his office has been in touch with Abbot’s office.
