CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Governor Pritzker says he is not disappointed that he was not chosen as Kamala Harris's running mate, and very happy with the man who was.
Pritzker said he’s known Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz since they both became governors in the same year, 2019, and they’re good friends. Pritzker called him a “kind and decent human being.”
How will Walz help Vice President Harris and the Democratic ticket?
“Let’s start with the fact that he has been a pro-choice advocate for his entire career, that he has school breakfast and lunch to the children of Minnesota, that he has in every way demonstrated that he is trustworthy and a person of integrity, and that’s a heck of a lot more than you can say for the vice presidential choice that Donald Trump made,” the governor said.
At an unrelated event in Pilsen Tuesday, Pritzker said it was an honor for him to make it all the way through the vetting process for vice president, and he’ll do all he can to see the Harris-Walz ticket win.
