(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Cook County Sheriff’s office says a prostitution sting has netted more than two dozen men not far from O’Hare International Airport.

The arrests were in Leyden Township, which includes some near northwest suburban municipalities.

The sheriff’s office says its special victims unit issued citations to 25 men and towed 21 vehicles — the result of a sting operation targeting men trying to pay for sex.

Each citation carries a fine of $1,000 — for violating the county’s public morals nuisance ordinance.

And the sheriff’s office says for a man to get his car back after being towed, the fee is $500.
