LAKE COUNTY, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) --New charges were filed against a second suspect following a shooting in Lake County on Sunday.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said it started as an argument between four people outside a Beach Park gas station near Lewis and Wadsworth.
Cyria Selvy, 23 allegedly pulled out a gun and shot a 21-year-old man from Wadsworth.
Officials said Rigoberto Morales, 54 returned fire, striking Selvy twice. Both victims were taken to nearby hospitals with minor gunshot wounds.
Selvy is charged with aggravated battery and aggravated discharge of a firearm. She's scheduled to make her first court appearance on Wednesday.
Morales is charged with aggravated and unlawful use of a weapon. He's currently being held on $150,000 bail.
