In Will County a semi-truck carrying more than 7,000 pounds of frozen pies rolled over on I-80, which caused an hours-long traffic jam.
The accident happened around 3 a.m., near Joliet, when the semi entered the median and turned over on its side after its headlights allegedly malfunctioned.
Early Monday morning, crews blocked the left lane of I-80 in both directions, which allowed them to unload thousands of pounds of frozen pie from the truck and highway.
No injuries were reported, but 7,700 pounds of frozen pies were lost.
