(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Forbes magazine is out with its list of the world's richest people-a list comprised of 2,640 billlionaires.
Illinois can boast of 24 billionaires. Topping the list is Lucas Walton, 36, the grandson of Walmart founder Sam Walton, who ranks 74th with a net worth of $21.2 billion, is the CEO and founder of Chicago-based Builders Vision, which invests in clean energy, sustainable food and other environmental causes.
The next wealthiest is Patrick Ryan, the founder and retired CEO of Aon Corp. Chicago real estate investor Neil Bluhm, is ranked 425th with a net worth of $6 billion. Governor J.B. Pritzker is on the list at number 787 with a net worth of $3.7 billion.
Investor Ken Griffin is no longer among Illinoisans on the list as he now lives in Florida.
