CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Out-of-town residents could save on tickets to The Shedd Aquarium with its new plan-ahead pricing tool.

The new tool will allow out-of-town guests to plan a visit to the aquarium at least four weeks in advance.

Tickets will be cheaper when bought further in advance, and as new dates are added, the tool will adjust the price based on capacity.

The Shedd says new pricing for non-residents could go as low as 7 dollars less than current pricing, and during off-peak seasons, the majority of days will have a starting price lower than the current ticket price.

Out-of-town guests can use the tool now to buy tickets for dates starting November 1.
