CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A woman has been hospitalized after a shooting in South Shore Sunday night.
Chicago police said a 26-year-old woman was shot in the shoulder right around midnight near 77th and South Shore, near Rainbow Beach.
She was taken to the hospital initially in fair condition.
Police said the gunman may have escaped to a nearby home so they called out a SWAT team.
The SWAT incident has since concluded. No one is in custody, police said.
