(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A local broadcasting legend leads the latest list of names that will be affixed to city snowplows.

Chicago’s Department of Streets and Sanitation on Monday unveiled the selections picked by residents in the city’s second annual “You Name a Snow Plow” contest. Voting closed Friday for the latest crop of finalists.

“Skilling it” – a reference to retiring meteorologist Tom Skilling – tops the six winners. The others are:

--CTRL-SALT-DELETE

--Casimir Plowaski

--Ernie Snowbanks

--Mies van der Snow

--Bad, Bad Leroy Plow

“We are so appreciative of the many Chicagoans who submitted their creative and entertaining snowplow names, many of which reflect the Chicago pride we know so well,” Streets and San Commissioner Cole Stallard said in a news release.
