WOODSTOCK (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A man in far northwest suburban Woodstock was trapped under a tractor for about a half an hour Sunday before firefighters rescued him.
The man was partially submerged in a creek on a property along a rural stretch of Route 47 in unincorporated Woodstock.
The fire and rescue district said crews arrived at about 3 p.m.and found the man awake but pinned under a tractor after a small bridge collapsed.
Firefighters lifted the tractor off him and then airlifted him to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville for treatment of his injuries and severe hypothermia.
