MATTESON (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A shooting in the south suburbs Sunday afternoon left two people dead.
It’s not clear what led up to the shooting, but gunfire erupted near a home on Oakwood Lane near Kostner Avenue in Matteson.
This happened around 2:30 p.m. Police said two men were taken to the hospital, but they both later died.
One victim has yet to be identified. The other, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, was 20-year-old Antoine Brown of East Chicago, Indiana.
Matteson Police are investigating.
