(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Two suburban mothers have been charged with fighting in public after an altercation last week in the parking lot of a Tinley Park daycare center.

Azia Taylor, 31, of Flossmoor, and Beatriz Luna-Delgado, 33, of Crete, were both leaving Tutor Time Nov. 17 when one of the women hit the other’s car with her car door, police said. This reportedly started a fight between them.

Responding officers were unable to determine who struck first, so both woman were cited for fighting in public, police said. Also cited with the offence was Luna-Delgado’s husband, 35-year-old David O’Donnell of Hobart, Indiana, who was observed trying to separate the women.

Police say they’re looking for additional video and independent witnesses.

All of the cited individuals were given a hearing date at the Tinley Park Police Department. Both families were dismissed from the daycare, according to police.

Police said extra patrols will keep an eye on the business.
