
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Two men are wanted for stealing from elderly customers at a fast food restaurant in the Austin neighborhood.
Chicago police said over the past few days, the two suspects have robbed customers at the McDonald's on Madison and Lavergne twice.
In both robberies, police said it was between 10 and 11 a.m. when the suspects approached the victims while they were waiting to pay for an order, and took money from their pockets.
The restaurant manager told ABC 7 that robberies have been an ongoing issue.
Police said one suspect is a Black male between 12- 20 years old, about 5 ft. 6 in. tall and 130 -140 lbs. with a light brown complexion. A physical description of the other suspect was not released.
One suspect was also described as wearing a blue beanie, black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, and carrying a Champion brand bag. The second suspect was wearing a black top with blue bottoms and blue and black shoes, according to police.
