(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Two 16-year-old boys have died after being shot Friday night in northwest suburban Palatine, police said.
Police officers responded around 10 p.m. Friday to a report of a person shot in the 1800 block of Green Lane North. There, they found two teenagers with injuries, police said in a news release.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other 16-year-old was transported to Lutheran General Hospital, where he later died.
