CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - One of this year’s Lollapalooza headliners is backing out just weeks before he was slated to perform at the festival.
This morning, rapper Tyler, the Creator announced on social media that he will not be playing at Lolla this year.
Festival organizers announced fellow rap artist Megan Thee Stallion will take his place and, along with Hozier, will headline the first day. She will take the stage on Thursday, Aug. 1 , at 9 p.m.
The rest of the lineup remains intact, with SZA and Stray Kids starring Friday, The Killers, Future X and Metro Boomin leading Saturday and Blink-182 and Melanie Martinez capping off the weekend on Sunday.
Tickets, ranging from single-day to full-weekend passes, remain available.
