(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - When you're ready to say goodbye to your Christmas tree, there's an option that'll make a goat's day.
It’s not ok for your digestive health, but it’s great if you’re a goat.
The nonprofit Urban Growers Collective is accepting tree donations through Jan. 11 at their South Chicago farm, which is near the Indiana border.
If you’d rather go the traditional route, Chicago’s tree recycling program will be running from Jan. 11 through Jan. 25, with 27 locations throughout the city.
If you got some old holiday lights lying around, Reduce Waste Chicago is collecting them at over 30 spots through Jan. 31.
