(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Waterspouts have been reported over Lake Michigan Saturday morning.
They were reported along the Indiana Dunes National Park and off New Buffalo, Michigan.
The Indiana waterspout was captured on video and posted on the Facebook page of Great Lakes Weather and Climate.
It shows the rotation of loosely formed waterspout coming ashore and falling part along the dunes. The video was captured by photographer Mike Borns.
The International Centre for Waterspout Research had predicted them this weekend over lake Michigan because of cooler air over warmer water and a cold front.
