A Waukegan man fails in his attempt to steal from an area casino.
Des Plaines Police said on Tuesday security cameras at Rivers Casino captured Christian Savitz cheating at baccarat. Savitz, 35, has been charged with felony theft.
On December 19, Savitz moved a losing bet to a winning section on the baccarat table while a dealer wasn't looking. The maneuver was captured on security video. Savitz collected $1,005 and left the casino.
Savitz returned the next day and was recognized by security inside the building. Police were called and Savitz was arrested.
