DOWNERS GROVE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit and killed a 65-year-old woman in the western suburbs Thursday night.
Downers Grove Police said the hit-and-run happened shortly after 9 p.m., in the 600 block of Ogden Avenue, a couple of blocks west of Fairview Avenue.
The female victim was crossing Ogden when she was hit. The vehicle involved is believed to have been a small to midsize Honda or Acura SUV that was traveling westbound on Ogden.
The DuPage County coroner identified the victim as Robin Robinson of Downers Grove.
Downers police and the DuPage Major Crash Reconstruction Team are investigating.
