(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Police say a woman was arrested Tuesday in Kankakee County after allegedly kidnapping four girls.
Manteno police say 47-year old Anita Diaz forced the four girls at knifepoint into her car at a village park.
She then allegedly drove them to different locations in the Manteno and Bourbonnais area, including her own home, before releasing them at a park in Manteno three hours later.
The girls told their parents, who called police. Diaz was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlawful Restraint. She was being held at the Jerome Combs Detention Center.
Police say the girls were not hurt.
