CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A woman was beaten and robbed overnight, outside a North Side gas station, police said.
The 37-year-old woman was walking out of the Shell gas station in Lakeview, on Halsted and Addison, just a block away from the 19th Police District, when she was met by two other women, police said. The suspects hit in the face and then grabbed her purse, which contained several credit cards, police said.
The victim, having suffered bruises to her face, was transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital in fair condition, police said.
No one is in custody.
