Three months after a Palos Hills marine was killed outside of a Boston bar, a second person has been charged in connection to his death.

The Suffolk County District Attorney has charged 34-year-old Alisha Dumeer with accessory after the fact in the fatal stabbing of 23-year-old Daniel Martinez.

Martinez grew up in Crown Point and was with a fellow Marine outside the Sons of Boston bar over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Prosecutors said that’s when Martinez was stabbed in the chest by 38-year-old bouncer Alvaro Larama.

Prosecutors charged Larama with murder shortly after the incident.

Massachusetts law defines an accessory as someone who harbors or assists a person knowing they have committed a felony. Dumeer is part owner of the Sons of Boston.

Dumeer and Larrama are slated for arraignment next week.

The Martinez family still lives in Crown Point, including Daniel’s mother — who is suing the bar. Martinez’s family plans to set up a foundation in Daniel’s name to feed the homeless and work with the elderly.
