(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Naperville Police are trying to determine the cause of a fiery crash that killed a woman Monday night.
The accident happened just before 9 p.m. in the 1400 block of Auburn Avenue.
When Naperville police and fire responded they found a Toyota RAV4 on fire with a woman still inside.
Police say 38-year-old Amanda Broka was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators later determined prior to the crash she was driving southbound on Wehrli Drive when the RAV4 left the road, struck two light poles, and then caught fire in the driveway of a home.
Police say a young female family member was also inside the SUV when it crashed, but she managed to get out safely.
The crash is still under investigation.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Naperville Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 630-420-8833.
