LISTEN NOW: Mitchell Tenpenny talks aliens and why there’s a UFO on the back cover of his new album

After much anticipation, fans are finally able to jam out to Tenpenny’s new Rock-inspired project, but the whopping 20-song track-list isn’t the only thing that’s catching eyes. Fans are also taking notice of the UFO artwork on the back cover of the album and curiosity is at an all-time high.

“I threw the label for a little curveball when I put the UFO on the back,” Mitchell told Audacy’s Rob + Holly. "They were like, ‘Woah, what’s that about?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know, I just wanted a UFO on the back.'”

While he admits it was just for fun at first, Tenpenny says he fully believes in aliens and has no question they exist… somewhere.

He continued, “The kid in me wants them to be the green little skinny things, but they probably look just like us… there’s aliens. It’s fine, just accept it!”
