Written by Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, John Morgan, and Lydia Vaughan, "Don't Tell On Me" finds Aldean pleading with his heart to hold it together, and keep it quiet that he's still in love. "This is one of my favorite songs," Jason shares. "This is one of those songs where this guy's just kinda, basically talking to his heart and saying, 'you know, listen, you know it, and I know it. I'm a mess. You're my heart that I'm talking to, you're broken, but just don't let the cat out of the bag, don't let anybody know that this is happening. You're the only one that I can kind of trust with this.'"
