Election day is Tuesday, and the battle for Georgia continues.
Former President Barack Obama stopped in Atlanta today to make a final effort in galvanizing supporters to head to the polls and vote for former Vice President Joe Biden. The GOTV voter mobilization drive-in rally featured Atlanta performers Monica and 2 Chainz. The former president visit comes a day after Kamala Harris and President Donald Trump's visit on Sunday and Biden's visit on Tuesday.
The Georgia Democrats hosted the "Flip Georgia Blue" car rally event for Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock. While speaking at the rally, Obama said Tuesday is the most crucial election in our lifetime, and Georgians have the power to change America after four years of failure from Donald Trump. Obama also said President Trump is a "carrier" spreading COVID-19 at his campaign rallies because he cares more about having big crowds than keeping people safe. He added that not only does Georgia hold the key for the presidential election, but it also has the chance to flip two U.S. Senate seats.
President Obama is scheduled to leave Georgia and head to Miami, Flordia, for an Election Eve Close-Out rally with Luis Fonsi and DJ Irie.
