As coronavirus cases continue to rise in Georgia, health officials are encouraging everyone to get tested. With the surge in demand for testing, DeKalb and Fulton County are offering free testing in July.
DeKalb County:
The DeKalb County Board of Health is creating additional capacity for testing at two of its six testing locations by extending hours. COVID-19 testing is free and open to all individuals who wish to be tested. A driver's license or identification card is not required; however, registration in advance is strongly encouraged.
Testing is available at the following locations from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Fulton County:
Free COVID-19 Viral and Antibody Testing will be provided in the City of East Point by MAJL Diagnostic Laboratories for both drive-thru and walk-up testing on July 15-16.

You must be at least 13-years-old (parent must be with child). Social security number (card not needed), driver's license or state ID is required. If you have insurance or Medicare/Medicaid, please bring a copy of your insurance/Medicare/Medicaid card with you to the testing site. The CARES Act mandates coverage of 100% of COVID-19 testing cost, so there is no payment for testing at the testing sites. Both drive-thru and walk-up testing will be available is no payment for testing at the testing sites, and no appointment is required.
The Fulton County Health Department will be providing free COVID-19 testing.

St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta is hosting a free COVID testing event Saturday, July 18, from 10 am - 2 pm.
Participants will need to bring a valid ID and an insurance card.
One thousand cars lined up for COVID-19 testing at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in June. The free testing was coordinated by the 100 Black Men of Dekalb and The Family Health Centers of Georgia.
On the same day, The Urban League of Greater Atlanta and People TV also partnered together to offer free testing.
