Over 18 million people watched the University of South Carolina beat Iowa in the women’s NCAA Championship basketball game, but here in the ATL, the win hits a little closer to home since both Sania Feagin and Raven Johnson are from the metro Atlanta area.

Sania Feagin is a graduate of Forest Park High School, and Raven Johnson graduated from Westlake High School.
The staff at Westlake High School remembers Raven as a winner. Her former basketball coach, Hilda Hankerson said that Raven is remembered as a winner. Banners are still up for the 4 state championships and a national championship that she helped Westlake win and “She was the Gatorade Player of the Year.”

Raven also won the Naismith Award, which goes to the best men’s and women’s college basketball player in the country.
V-103 's own Greg Street called up both girls to let them know just how much the city loves them! Check it out below.
