Where to Dine-In On Thanksgiving Day In The ATL

The holidays are always a time where some people may be reminded of the fact that they've had some big changes in the family, and some may even find themselves alone. Others may not feel like cooking and entertaining and opt for a night out. Whatever your situation there are a number of eating out options for Thanksgiving Day! Check out our list of standouts below!

Fox Theatre
This is a classic Atlanta tradition. The Fox Theatre is hosting Foxgiving Feast on Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. There will be a Thanksgiving-inspired menu, wine, bourbon, photo ops, and more. Donations will benefit the Midtown Assistance Center food pantry. Tickets start at $75 and can be purchased at foxtheatre.org.


5Church
5Church is hosting a Thanksgiving buffet with a number of of choices of proteins, salads, sides, and desserts. The Midtown restaurant will be open Nov. 28, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. A reservation is required and can be made at midtown.5church-atlanta.com.

Ray's in the City & Ray's on the River
For $85 a person, Ray's in the City is hosting a family-style Thanksgiving meal, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Meanwhile, Ray's on the River is serving up a Thanksgiving buffet during the same hours for $75 per person. Visit raysinthecity.com or raysontheriver.com to make reservations.

South City Kitchen
South City Kitchen in Midtown, Buckhead, and Vinings will be serving a three-course dinner on Thanksgiving. Reservations can be made online. They will also offer take-and-bake meals with all of the fixings for a meal at home. Place your order by 5 p.m. on Nov. 23. Visit southcitykitchen.com to make a reservation and order ahead.

Meals on Wheels
Give back to the community and enjoy a gourmet meal at the same time! Meals On Wheels is hosting an Atlanta Thanksgiving dinner curated by chef Robert Gerstenecker, former executive chef at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. Offerings include brined roasted turkey ($160), butter-whipped potatoes, Southern mac and cheese and more. Gerstenecker creates homemade dinner options for local nonprofit Purposeful Gourmet Foods, with all proceeds benefiting Meals On Wheels Atlanta. Orders must be placed online by Nov. 15 for pickup at Meals On Wheels Atlanta on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
