If you're looking for a job, MARTA could be for you.
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority is holding a career fair today, Saturday April 2. Director of Human Resources Theresa Austin Gibbons tells Audacy Atlanta's Maria Boynton "we have plenty of jobs" for bus operators and journeyman bus technicians.
According to Gibbons, there is a $3,000 signing bonus, and they will train all Permit and Class C license holders for their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
The job fair starts at 9am and is being held at MARTA headquarters located on Piedmont Road across the street from the Lindbergh Center station.
The job fair is an in-person event with an online option at itsmarta.com.
Gibbons adds that masks and a negative COVID test are required for entrance. COVID testing will be done on site.
