While the time crunch can indeed be stressful, it's worth it, and at least the prices aren’t bad, as every item in the collection is under $120 with a majority of the pieces costing under $80.
Sharing the inspiration behind the line of t-shirts, joggers and more, the GRAMMY-winning singer revealed, "my collection was inspired by the two places that really made me who I am, my hometown Vallejo, California and Brooklyn, New York. These cites contributed to my growth as an artist and as a woman.”
She continued, “I also had to make something that represented my Filipino culture. 'Bahalaka sa buhay mo,' a phrase that my mom and grandmother used to say to me growing up meaning 'whatever with your life, go ahead,' is just one of the many personal touches in this collection.”
