Also, with the very team friendly three year, $36 million dollar contract, with $20 million guaranteed, mentioned in the article the Falcons would still have cap space to continue to improve the roster around Wilson.
Bo Nix has franchise quarterback potential. With the proper time to learn, and again in the right system, and potentially learning from Russell Wilson, Nix could be the Falcons long term solution at quarterback.
Obviously, right now this is all speculation, but if this scenario comes to pass the Falcons would not only turn into immediate NFC South favorites, but also contenders to win the NFC.
