All adults in Georgia are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. During a press conference on Tuesday, Governor Brian Kemp expanded the criteria to include all Georgians aged 16-and-over beginning Wednesday.
Kemp's decision comes as the federal government sent other 450-thousand doses to Georgia this week. While speaking, the Governor stressed that everyone should confirm their spot for an appointment as soon as possible.

In Atlanta, the distribution of the vaccine is increasing at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. According to officials, health professionals will be on hand today to work in pods on three levels at the stadium as part of a mass effort to vaccinate over 40-thousand people-a-week for two months. The mass vaccination site will be the largest site for COVID vaccines in the country's southeast region.
Currently, more than two million people have received at least one dose of the vaccine in Georgia.
