Falcons DC Dean Pees: Still hoping to pressure QB's without having to blitz

The offense has been a shining light for the Atlanta Falcons, and while the defense has been lagging a bit below where they were hoping to be, they haven't been without some bright spots of their own.

Atlanta Falcons Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees, who joined John and Hugh on Thursday morning, discussed the teams pass rush through three games and what he'd like to see improve from that aspect of his defense.

I still think, just rushing four, we gotta get better. If we don't get there, there's going to be holes, you can't cover forever, we still like getting more pressure with just being able to rush four," says Dean Pees. "We've executed, I'm very pleased, finally just played and that was what was important."

Through Week 3 the Falcons have 7 sacks on the season, tied for 11th in the NFL, after finishing dead last with just 18 sacks on the season in 2021.
