The United Way of Greater Atlanta is holding it Earned Income Tax Credit Awareness Virtual Experience Wednesday, February 2, from 2pm-3pm.
United Way's Economy Jackson tells Audacy Atlanta's Maria Boynton "We are increasing eligibility awareness of refundable credits that many missed claiming or are not aware of."
According to Jackson the EITC virtual event will also include information about child tax credits and free tax prep. Among the speakers are Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, United Way of Greater Atlanta President Milton J. Little, Congressman Hank Johnson, and officials with the IRS.
