Atlanta residents are headed to the polls today to elect the city's 61st mayor and more. Depending on where you live the polls are open from 7am to 7pm or 8pm. You can check out your polling place here.

Former city council president Felicia Moore, the top vote getter in the Nov 3 election, is taking on city councilman Andre Dickens in Tuesday's runoff. The candidates for mayor spoke with Audacy Atlanta's Maria Boynton about their plans for the city. Moore and Dickens agree that public safety is a primary issue for the city, with other matters including problems with infrastructure and the possibility of Buckhead cityhood.

Residents will also determine the next president of the Atlanta city council. Longtime member Natalyn Archibong and Doug Shipman also told Boynton their plans for the city.

Shipman was the founding CEO of the Center for Civil and Human Rights. Archibong is serving her 5th term on Atlanta City Council.
