Former President Barack Obama is scheduled to be in Atlanta this Friday. He'll be in town to campaign for Democrats Stacey Abrams and Senator Raphael Warnock. Abrams is once again going up against incumbent Brian Kemp for Governor, while Warnock is facing Republican challenger Herschel Walker.
Obama previously visited Atlanta during the 2020 campaign. His appearance helped to garner enough votes to send his party to victory in the presidential and congressional races.
The Friday rally, labeled as the Georgia Grassroots Event with President Obama, will be from 4-9pm est. The public will be allowed to attend with registration via an online registration site.
