Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. is still recovering from season-ending surgery to repair a torn ACL to his right knee.
The time frame for returning after an ACL injury is different for everyone but hopefully Acuña will be back by the start of the 2022 season.
When he does eventually return, could Braves fans see his role change?
There's been a lot of speculation that a universal designated hitter may become a permanent fixture in the National League with the current collective bargaining agreement expiring at the end of the year.
92.9 The Game reporter Joe Patrick said that if the DH does stick, Acuña may be the man for the Braves.
"I think that Ronald Acuña Jr. will probably start out the season as your DH just because he's coming off that surgery and you don't want to have that wear-and-tear on his knee," Joe told Andy and Randy.
"I think that's something the Braves probably need to plan for at this point."
