Several people are injured and at least 100 structures damaged after a tornado in Troup County Sunday morning. The affected areas are south and west of Atlanta.

At least 5 people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

After initially stating that schools would resume at the normal time Monday morning, classes are now cancelled in Troup and Meriwether counties.

Two tigers from the nearby Pine Mountain Animal Safari were recaptured after the storm.

Governor Brian Kemp issued a State of Emergency for the area.

Authorities say it's the second tornado in three weeks for the area.
