During my interview with father Torrey Lang about a parent's worst nightmare, I could also hear constant moaning from mother Teresa Lang who also shared that sleep is no longer a part of her routine.
18 year old Tori was their only child. She and her father even shared the same name.

The recent honor graduate of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain was furthering her studies. According to mom Teresa, "she was studying Architectural Engineering online."
Dad Torrey admits that he and his wife spoiled their daughter. "Anything she wanted, she could get", adding, "sometimes when you have a bright individual, it often attracts people of all kind, including the wrong kind. " His belief is that someone else knew how genergous they were with Tori and took advantage of it.
"She was always happy, smiling, having fun, loved to cook, loved to dance, just loved to do things", Lang said about Tori.

The family survived Hurricane Katrina, according to Lang, "I've been through a lot and I thought I knew pain. This is a pain that's unexplainable."
Tuesday evening, July 27, is when Lang says he last saw his daughter. He recalls that he was in the kitchen cooking eggs and offered her an egg sandwich. "It was normal", he says. The family started to worry when she didn't come home that night. "We knew immediately something wasn't right."
Police say Tori was found shot to death the following morning inside Yellow River Park in Gwinnett County, not far from Stone Mountain.
Her car was found 6 days later inside a DeKalb County park, Hidden Acres Nature Preserve, which is about 4 miles from where Tori's body was found. Police say the vehicle had been burned and left in some woods.
Who would do this to an 18 year old former high school honor student? Dad Torrey's message to whoever's responsible: "For you to push yourself to do something this horrifying to a person so sweet and innocent means you've got to be demonic. Only a demon would do something like this."
To anyone with knowledge of what happened to his daughter, Lang says, "If you know something, say something so we can get these individuals off the streets."
Funeral services for Tori will be livestreamed Friday, August 6, 2021, from Berean Christian Church, 2201 Young Road, in Stone Mountain.
There's a Gofundme page set up by the family.
