Julian Conley, 20, and Jerrion McKinney, 23, have been indicted in the alleged gang-related murder of 8 year old Secoriea Turner.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis announced Friday afternoon that a grand jury returned 37 counts against Conley and McKinney in the July 4, 2020, death of the little girl.

Conley, who was arrested shortly after the girl's death is charged with malice murder and felony murder. Both men are charged with aggravated assault, and gun-related charges. McKinney was arrested earlier this month.
According to DA Willis, Secoriea, her mother Charmaine, and her mother's friend were riding in a vehicle on Pryor Avenue when they approached a road block. When the vehicle didn't stop, shots were fired inside the vehicle, said Willis. It happened near the area where Rayshard Brooks had been shot and killed by Atlanta police just days before.

Willis called it "one of the saddest cases" she has seen in her 25 year career as a prosecutor.
