Atlanta Hawks Head Coach Nate McMillan joined Dukes & Bell and talked about what the message was he gave the team at halftime last night with them down twenty-two points to the Sixers.
When asked what his halftime speech was like last night.
“I knew we could play better, they knew we could play better, so a lot didn’t need to be said,” McMillan said. “You know we do show video at the half, we show our guys some sets, some plays that happen during the first half, so they seem themselves at halftime, so a lot didn’t need to be said.”
“One thing that I did say to them, we’ve been here before, we been in this situation before when we been down and we have to go out and establish ourselves right away on both ends of the floor. Hopefully those shots will start to fall for us because we had good looks in that first half those shot just wasn’t falling for our shooters.”
