On Monday Andy & Randy discussed whether or not the Atlanta Falcons are heading in the right direction under the tenure of General Manager Terry Fontenot and Arthur Smith as the two head into the third season leading the franchise.
“Do you feel confident in the direction they (Falcons) are heading in?” Andy asked Randy.
“I don’t know…This is what I know about this team, Arthur Smith is a hell of a football coach. Very good football coach and they have an identity that they want to be a physical run team, which they have done. They got some young parts, young pieces offensively that you can continue to build with.” Randy replied.
“Their biggest thing is going to be the defense. The quarterback and the defense is what, in my opinion, going forward are the question marks for this team.” Randy added.
“In order to say that you feel like they are heading in the right direction you’d want to be able to answer one of those two questions definitively…or even just pass rush and quarterback.” Andy stated.
Andy & Randy went on to talk about how important both the NFL Draft and free agency are this off-season for the Falcons.
