Falcons must stick to the script and run the ball

For the Atlanta Falcons, it is safe to say quarterback, Michael Penix Jr. is coming off his worst statistical performance of his career in Sunday’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which he completed eight passes on 24 attempts for 124 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions, leaving some to question why the Falcons opted to take as many pass attempts in poor weather conditions.

Now, with the page being turned to preparing for the Cincinnati Bengals, Penix Jr. and the Falcons will look to get back on track and in the win column and wide receiver, Jahan Dotson, joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell and explained what he believes will be key in order for the team turn things around in Madrid, Spain.

“It starts by identifying what we really do well as a football team and making that our core,” Dotson said as he spoke with Dukes and Bell ahead of the Falcons’ departure for Madrid. “That’s running the ball. We have a great offensive line, the best running back in the league, guys on the perimeter who are unselfish and want to make big blocks to spring touchdowns, so getting back to running the ball successfully, it will set you up for everything you need to be in a great offense,” Dotson said.
