Tua Tagovailoa looks to take advantage of opportunity Falcons present
As the Atlanta Falcons continue preparing for the start of the 2026 NFL season, a decision on who will be the starting quarterback in Week 1 may still be a ways away as Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. are expected to compete for the role, and for Tagovailoa, he has complete understanding of the responsibility should he win the job.
“At the end of the day, you go out there to be able to perform and last year, that’s not what I was able to do,” Tagovailoa said as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell following the third day of Falcons’ training camp and explained how his final season with the Miami Dolphins was an eye opener in regards to his performance leading to his eventual release.
