Launching on frontman, James Hetfield's birthday, the podcast will “be a quick, weekly hit including news, updates, exclusive features, and surprises from HQ and beyond,” according to a statement from the band. Each show will be broadcast live from the group’s Northern California headquarters and hosted by band journalist, Steffan Chirazi, and philanthropist director, Renée Richardson.
Included in the show will be updates from Metallica’s current M72 Tour, which is currently continuing to make its way around the globe.
Fans have the opportunity to get involved as they are encouraged to submit questions to be answered on the podcast. Chirazi and Richardson plan to address listener questions each show.
