J.C. Jackson is having another fantastic season as he's currently second in the NFL with seven interceptions and since 2019 he has the most in the entire league with 21.
Speaking to reporters Friday, Jackson was asked about how he's able to get all these interceptions?
“I would say the biggest thing, the biggest strength I have is ball skills,” he said. “Which helps me catch a lot of picks. Then my hands, these hands are amazing. So that’s my biggest thing. I have great ball skills... you can’t make no mistakes around me, man. You can’t make no mistakes.”
Jackson also gave credit to his teammates.
“I want to shout the whole front seven, the d-line. I want to shout out to all those boys,” he said. “They have been after the quarterback all year. So those interceptions don’t come just off me doing it by myself.”
Fresh off winning the AFC's Defensive Player of the Month for November, he will likely be tasked with matching up with Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs Monday night. Diggs got the best of him in the last meeting, finishing with nine receptions for 145 yards and three touchdowns.
Jackson said Diggs is one of the toughest matchups he's had since coming into the league, but with another year of experience he feels he's a better player.
“I’m more comfortable now,” Jackson said. “The game has slowed down for me so I’m able to make more plays and react faster.”
