Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler are viewed as a package deal in Las Vegas, as it it happens McDaniels would be the head coach with Ziegler being the general manager.
But, there's apparently a third person, as well.
Champ Kelly.
Kelly, the Bears' assistant director of player personnel, interviewed with Las Vegas and worked with McDaniels and Ziegler in Denver from 2009-10. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a reunion among them could happen in Las Vegas, with McDaniels as the head coach, Ziegler as the general manager and Kelly as the assistant general manager.
Ziegler and Kelly already interviewed and McDaniels reportedly will speak with owner Mark Davis this coming weekend.
Relating to the Patriots, it seems like Eliot Wolf would be the leader in the clubhouse to replace Ziegler and Bill O'Brien to replace McDaniels.
