WAMO (107.3) PITTSBURGH - Local on-air personality and part of your awesome and community driven WAMO talent, Mike Dean is partnering with a locally owned business named "Be Social" to support a 2023 summer initiative to get our communities' youth properly outfitted with some new sneakers before the start of the school-year.
Stop by Be Social on Penn Avenue to donate your gently loved or never before worn shoes. Drop them off between Noon-7PM, daily, and help kids be "Head to Toe Ready to Go," for the upcoming school year! The drop-off location will approximately be at: 5929 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
This charitable initiative continues a long stretch of 107.3 WAMO supporting and giving back to their local community. Mike Dean recognizes that the start of the school year is very important and when asked about this summer sneaker drive, he says, "I always felt like the start of a school year and how you feel about yourself can determine how far you can go. Look good, feel good."
