On Wednesday Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith announced that tight end Kyle Pitts will be out for the rest of the season after being placed on IR a few weeks back and now having a procedure.
Kyle Pitts finishes his second NFL season with 28 catches for 356 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games played.
The Falcons, who are 5-7 overall, are still fighting to win the NFC South as they are only a half game back of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are 5-6 overall.
The Falcons host the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday at 1pm at Mercedes Benz Stadium. Pregame coverage on 92.9 The Game starts 11am, with kickoff at 1pm.
